Issues of further enhancing collaboration with a leading American company, which is a global leader in its field, to promote high-tech projects in strategic sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan were considered.

The President of Uzbekistan congratulated the head of the company on the successful completion of the transaction and the signing of an agreement on the acquisition of three industrial gas installations of the GTL plant in Kashkadarya region with the attraction of direct investments for $1 billion.

The participation of Air Products in another major project was also noted – the construction of a gas chemical complex using MTO technology in Bukhara region with investments of at least $700 million.

Particular attention was paid to promising projects for developing green hydrogen in Uzbekistan, where another key partner is the Saudi company ACWA Power.

The importance of training highly qualified specialists within the framework of ongoing projects was noted.
