During the visit, the President of Uzbekistan held talks with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, and the President of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong.
Meetings were held with the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and the heads of leading Chinese corporations Ameri International, CAMCE, China Energy, and State Grid.
The President of Uzbekistan and his spouse took part in the solemn welcoming ceremony of the heads of delegations who arrived at the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
The Leader of Uzbekistan addressed the forum’s plenary session dedicated to issues of green development and shared his vision of further deepening the partnership with China and other participants of the Belt and Road.
Following the events, the Minister of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China Wang Xiangxi, and other officials saw off the distinguished guests at the Beijing Capital International Airport. The President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent.
