As reported, training of personnel in the field of pilgrimage tourism is underway, the establishment of organic ties with foreign specialists in this direction, the implementation of scientific and educational projects together with the specialists of the Committee. Students of the Academy in the field of tourism will implement a number of projects on the development of maps and manuals.

An agreement was also reached to enrich the content of international electronic resources and create a base for the direction of pilgrimage tourism on the basis of cooperation.

During the meeting, it was announced that the International Islamic Academy has published a collection including about 500 places of pilgrimage in Uzbekistan, and the Tourism Committee is promoting this collection among economic entities in the field of tourism.
