Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation: as a result of an accident in the Samara region, two compatriots were killed and about 20 people were injured

    On April 8, two Uzbek citizens were killed in an accident in the Samara region (Russia).

    As the telegram channel of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow informs, the incident occurred on the Ural-Mukhanovo highway in the Samara region. A bus traveling on the Shymkent - Nizhny Novgorod route left the road and overturned. There were 66 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. As a result, two Uzbek citizens were killed, about 20 people were injured and are in medical institutions.

    The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Moscow expresses its sincere condolences to the family members and relatives of compatriots who died as a result of an accident in the Samara region, the Dune news agency reports.

    In order to provide the necessary assistance, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia and the staff of the Consulate General in Kazan went to the scene of the incident.

    Our diplomats are working closely with the relevant organizations of the Samara region on this issue. The situation is under special control.
