The President of the Senate raised important issues at a meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development

    Currently, the delegation of Uzbekistan in Geneva is actively participating in the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

    The delegation of Uzbekistan not only participates in debates and sessions within the framework of the assembly, but also holds meetings with representatives of international organizations and heads of parliaments.

    Thus, the Chairman of the Senate, Tanzila Narbayeva, met with the Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Rebecca Greenspan.

    During the meeting, it was emphasized that the IV World Conference on Creative Economy, held for the first time in Central Asia, was organized by Uzbekistan at a high level.

    They also talked about the large-scale work on the development of the creative economy in our country, the adoption of a law on the development of this sphere.

    Issues of exchange of experience between countries on innovation, technology, and human resource improvement were discussed in conjunction with the UN Conference on Trade and Development.

    Also, in order to strengthen international cooperation, an exchange of views took place on the creation of a global network of creative technology parks.
