The President visits an automobile manufacturing company

    The President of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the activities of the Uzbekistan – Singapore Joint Venture Technologies of Real Time in Zangiata district of Tashkent region.

    The automobile industry is a large industry in the country. In recent years, car production has increased almost threefold, and it is expected that by the end of this year, it will reach 460 thousand units. By 2030, it is planned to increase this figure to 1 million.

    To eliminate the monopoly and develop competition in the industry, 2 new private enterprises and prestigious foreign brands have been attracted. Today, dozens of types of cars, trucks, and passenger vehicles are produced at more than 20 plants.

    Therefore, there is a great demand for spare parts in the industry. More than 300 enterprises are united in a single cooperation network in this area. One of them is Technologies of Real Time in Zangiata.

    At the international industrial fair held on November 20, 2019, at the Uzexpocentre, the President got acquainted with the company’s products and gave recommendations for further expansion of production. On this basis, a large-scale modernization was carried out here. Equipment from China, Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and the USA was installed in 12 workshops. Today, more than 750 types of spare parts for the chassis, transmission, and control systems of cars of 118 different brands are produced.

    220 jobs have been created here. Employees undergo training courses at the mono-center created at the enterprise and then are hired. The products are supplied throughout Uzbekistan. In particular, 773 thousand spare parts for Damas and Labo cars were delivered to the Uzavto Motors plant in Khorezm region.

    A modern laboratory for technical inspection and testing of automotive spare parts has been created. The company’s products have international quality certificates, including IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2020, and BIOS General Motors.

    Therefore, the company’s products are in high demand abroad. Last year, spare parts worth $3 million were delivered to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Ukraine, and the United Arab Emirates. Over the first nine months of this year, products worth more than $2 million were exported.

    Also, since 2018, the company has been participating in international exhibitions with its products in Germany, the United Arab Emirates, China, and Russia.

    The Head of state got acquainted with the plant’s production process and talked to the employees. In the company’s showroom, he examined samples of finished products.

    Here, information about plans was also presented.

    In particular, an investment project worth $1.15 million will be implemented in 2025. As a result, the production of spare parts for new automobile brands such as BYD, Chery, Changan, Geely, and Dongfeng will be mastered.

    The project will create 43 new jobs and increase production capacity from 180 thousand to 280 thousand units.
