New Uzbekistan University has been established by the Presidential Resolution of June 23 this year. The document provides for the construction of a modern university campus.
For this purpose, a corresponding project was developed together with Turkish architects.
Information about the main aspects of the project, the conditions that will be created in the future campus was provided.
The project of the new library building was also considered at the event. A new center of enlightenment will be built on the territory of Alisher Navoi National Park of Uzbekistan. Its appearance is inspired by historical monuments on the territory of the country. All conditions are provided for storing a large book fund, reading and cultural recreation, holding various events.
On May 14 this year, the Head of the state visited the Republican Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology. The President instructed to build a new building for the center. The land has been allocated for the center on the territory of the clinic of Tashkent Medical Academy.
The project of the new center was developed taking into account the best practices of foreign medical institutions. All conditions for doctors and patients are provided.
A consulting polyclinic and a reception department will be located on the first floor of the future ten-storey building. The upper floors will house medical departments, a hospital with 650 beds and an outpatient clinic with 100 beds. Conditions will also be created for the activities of the departments of Tashkent Medical Academy and Tashkent Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors, Magistracy and Residency.
The three-storey underground part of the building will house departments of radiology and radiation therapy, diagnostics with modern equipment for computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, digital X-ray and others.
The Head of the state gave instructions on the implementation of projects using international standards, ensuring high-quality construction, training technical personnel for building maintenance.
