In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 21, 2019 No. PKM-701 "On measures to further improve the quality of teaching foreign languages in educational institutions", two classes on in-depth study of the Korean language were organized at this school, where 60 students were accepted for training on a test basis.
In addition, as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 6, 2020 No. PP-4851, starting from the 2020/2021 academic year, a specialized school with in-depth study of computer science and information technology was organized on the basis of specialized school No. 30 in the city of Urgench.
Currently, 140 students are studying in the specialized classes of the school in informatics and information technologies in Uzbek and Russian, and 93 students are studying Korean in special classes. This school has computer science and robotics classes, as well as a digital library. The classrooms have been renovated in accordance with modern requirements and equipped with the necessary computer and other equipment.
During the visit, a conversation was organized by the students of the school, presentations of developments were held. The foreign guests got directly acquainted with the activities of the school and highly appreciated the conditions created at the school for students, the MITK press center reports.
