Issues of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, one of the key areas of the Uzbek-Russian partnership, were discussed at the meeting.
Special attention was paid to joint initiatives in the fields of culture, education and the preservation of historical heritage.
"The opening of an exhibition of Uzbek art at the New Jerusalem Museum and the holding of the Days of Russian Culture in Uzbekistan are vivid evidence of the high level of trust and mutual interest between our peoples," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her telegram channel.
