On November 11, 2021, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Turkey to attend the Eighth Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.
The agenda of the summit includes issues of enhancing multifaceted relations within the Council, primarily in trade, investment, green economy, digital technologies, transport and communications, as well as cultural-humanitarian exchange.
It is expected to adopt documents aimed at improving the effectiveness of multilateral cooperation.
During the visit, the Head of the state will hold several bilateral meetings.
