During the talks, the results of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education and science were discussed.

In recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey have reached a new level, and a number of important projects have been implemented. In particular, a decree was adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the establishment of the International University of the Turkic Peoples, which will contribute to the spiritual and scientific development of the Turkic-speaking countries.

In addition, an agreement was reached to open a branch of the Yunus Emre Cultural Center at the Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.

During the meeting, further development of cooperation in the field of higher and professional education, science, implementation of new initiatives and exchange of experience were discussed. Efforts aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and taking them to a new level will continue.
