The incident occurred in the Nakhon Ratchasima province in the northeast of the kingdom. The train was traveling on the Bangkok – Ubon Ratchathani route. As a result of the collision, the train derailed and caught fire.
Rescuers are currently working to save passengers trapped in three of the carriages. Approximately 200 people were on board the train at the time of the accident, reported by report.az.
