Uzbekistan - Israel: prospects for expanding business cooperation discussed

    The Uzcharmsanoat Association took part in the Uzbek-Israeli trade mission as part of a delegation consisting of economic sectors, enterprises and khokimiyats of the regions of Uzbekistan. The trade mission, which took place in Tel Aviv on June 28-29, was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel together with the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    At the business forum organized on the first day of the trade mission, the first deputy chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association told Israeli businessmen and representatives of large companies about the opportunities and production potential of the leather and shoe and fur industry.

    The participants of the forum were provided with detailed information about the production opportunities, investment potential, export indicators of the leather and shoe and fur industries of Uzbekistan. The participants were also familiarized with detailed information about tax and customs privileges provided by the state, conditions created in the country for foreign businessmen intending to invest in the leather and footwear industry.

    Foreign partners were told about the activities of industry enterprises operating in Uzbekistan today, types of products, localization program, international cooperation.

    The participants of the business forum held productive negotiations on the development of cooperation in this area. Within the framework of B2B meetings, dialogues on establishing mutually beneficial relations were also held.

    Within the framework of the trade mission, negotiations were also held on the export of leather and shoe products to Israel under the brand "Made in Uzbekistan". Upon completion of this trade mission, a number of export contracts and agreements are expected to be signed.
