Under the chairmanship of H. Rakhmetov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC, and Sun Yongcai, Chairman of the Board of CRRC Corporation Limited, strategic steps to modernize railway transport were discussed.

The experts discussed important aspects, including the modernization of electric locomotives and the localization of production, which reflects the desire to increase efficiency and competitiveness in this area.

It should be noted that earlier cooperation between Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC and CRRC Corporation Limited has already strengthened its position. This creates a favorable ground for the further successful development of joint projects. This meeting was another step towards establishing strong ties and expanding the horizons of cooperation in the railway industry between Uzbekistan and China.

For reference: CRRC manufactures products such as high-speed electric trains, high-power locomotives, freight and passenger wagons and urban rail vehicles. Currently, CRRC products are exported to about one hundred countries.
