On November 20, 2023, the Uzbek-Chinese Business Forum was held in the People's Republic of China. In it, a presentation was made to large companies and investors of the Celestial Empire about the economic opportunities of our country, growth trends in the fields of investment, production, tourism, and the leather industry. In particular, information was provided on the dynamics of the development of the leather and footwear industry in Uzbekistan in recent years, the investment environment, new investment projects.

Representatives of Uzcharmsanoat held talks with the heads of Chinese leather and shoe companies and concerns. In particular, the dialogue with Hong Kong International China International was devoted to the implementation of joint projects and attracting investments of the company in the leather industry of our country.

During the negotiations with the Director General of the Guangzhou livestock cluster Jianli Industries, the issue of implementing a project for deep processing of raw hides of large and small cattle in Uzbekistan was considered. The head of the cluster highly appreciated the possibilities of processing the raw materials produced in our country and exporting them to China. Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on the implementation of this project.

Also, a great interest in leather goods of Uzbekistan was expressed by the furniture manufacturer Royal Home Holdings of China. Next year, the company's delegation plans to visit our country and sign mutually beneficial contracts.
