The Airbus A320 aircraft, the first flight of which was performed in "full economy class", delivered 174 passengers to the Perm International Airport of the Russian Federation. And this indicator is a clear example of the high demand from the Fergana Valley for the cities of the Russian Federation.
Creating favorable and comfortable conditions for flights to the most popular destinations from the Fergana Valley is the main goal of Uzbekistan Airways in the Eastern Hub organization. According to the project, Uzbekistan Airways will use the International Airports of Namangan and Fergana to expand the route network from the region to the cities of the Russian Federation and the cities of far abroad popular among residents of the Fergana Valley.
As part of the new Eastern Hub initiative, a presentation of the project for media representatives and bloggers took place at Namangan International Airport. Within its framework, representatives of the airline acquainted the participants with the scale of the project, the flight map and the cost of air tickets. The next flights are scheduled to the Russian cities of Moscow, Samara, Omsk, Orenburg, Irkutsk, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg and Ufa.
Also, it is worth noting that at the moment flights to Moscow, Kazan and Istanbul are already being operated from the International Airport of the city of Fergana, which was the first stage of the organization of the Eastern Hub.
After the completion of the second stage of the hub development - the start of flights from Namangan, Uzbekistan Airways will begin the third stage - increasing the number of flights from Fergana, as well as expanding the route network from Fergana International Airport.
