During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of joint projects implemented with the support of BII, as well as prospects for further cooperation in the field of road infrastructure.
Jamshid Tursunov expressed gratitude to the bank for its participation in the implementation of strategically important projects for the country. In particular, they discussed the reconstruction of the 78 km long section of the A380 Guzar-Bukhara-Nukus-Beineu highway.
An agreement was also reached on the implementation of a major repair project for 516.1 km of local highway sections - 328.1 km in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and 188 km in the Khorezm region. The parties confirmed their readiness to expand cooperation in the future.
