During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, attracting investments, developing business cooperation and organizing mutual delegation visits.
Qatar imports machinery, electrical equipment, automobiles, metal products, aviation and space technology, and pays special attention to the import of weapons, precious stones, metals and pharmaceuticals.
The Uzbekistan-Qatar Business Council was established on October 1, 2023 in Doha and is aimed at developing trade, economic and investment ties, establishing direct contacts between entrepreneurs and implementing joint projects.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of the Qatari business delegation to Uzbekistan in 2024 and holding a meeting of the Uzbekistan-Qatar Business Council.
