The meeting, which was chaired by First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan D. Abdusalamov and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation D. Vakhrukov, was attended by representatives of relevant departments, tourism organizations, educational institutions and business structures of the two countries.

The parties discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements, the implementation of the Cooperation Program for 2025-2026 and the results of events held within the framework of the "Year of Tourism of Uzbekistan in Russia", and noted the positive dynamics of mutual tourist exchange.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further promote joint tourism products, develop educational programs, improve transport accessibility, and strengthen marketing activities.
