First Deputy Minister Shokhrukh Daliyev held talks with a delegation that included Dr. Julia Rosen, Vice President for Global Academic Initiatives at Arizona State University, as well as the leadership of the American University of Technology in Tashkent.
During the conversation, information was provided on the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in the field of higher education, science and innovation, and priority areas for integrating the national education system into international standards were identified.
The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation, the launch of joint educational programs, the expansion of academic exchange of students and teachers, as well as the development of start-ups and innovative projects.
For reference: The American University of Technology in Tashkent already offers Uzbek youth a number of educational programs at Arizona State University. This cooperation is aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two universities and the Ministry.
