The resolution condemns any hate propaganda that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence, regardless of whether printed, audio-visual or electronic means, social networks or any other means are used for this purpose, the Dune news agency reports.
Concern is expressed about the continuing increase worldwide in the number of cases of racial and religious intolerance, discrimination and related violence, as well as the formation of negative racial and religious stereotypes.
In this regard, the resolution condemns any propaganda of hatred on national, racial or religious grounds and urges States to take effective measures in accordance with their obligations to respond to and counter such cases in accordance with international law.
