Uzbekistan is represented at the International Oil and Gas Exhibition in Malaysia

    Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia are taking part in the International Exhibition "Oil and Gas Asia 2022" ("Oil and Gas Asia 2022"), held in Kuala Lumpur from September 13 to 15.

    "Oil and Gas of Asia 2022" is an exhibition of the latest technologies, equipment and software in the field of hydrocarbons, oil and gas and green energy, which has been held annually in the capital of Malaysia since 2003. The organizers of this exhibition are the Malaysian Council for Oil and Gas Services (MOGSC) and the Malaysian Petrochemical Association (MPA), the main partner of the event is the Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas.

    The event is Asia's largest oil and gas industry exhibition. This year, the exhibition demonstrates products from more than 40 areas of the industry, including chemical engineering systems, exploration and production technology, drilling and downhole technologies, and others.

    Every year about 500 companies and 20 thousand people from more than 50 countries of the world take part in this event.

    During the exhibition, its participants were informed about the ongoing reforms in our country in the oil and gas sector and in the field of renewable energy sources, as well as the Uzbekistan GTL project of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

    Negotiations have been held with a number of foreign companies, such as Picardie Valves Industries, Borger and Sherwood Protective Apparel, the Dunyo news agency reports.

    The manufacturer of fittings and valves of France "Group-IPI" and the manufacturer of industrial pumps of Japan "Ebara Corp", participating in the exhibition, expressed interest in exploring the possibilities of their activities in Uzbekistan.
