The Regional Manager of the GPO, Mr. Nils Raisman, said that since 2017, the Uzbek side has made impressive progress in the field of education and upbringing of young children and wished that this growth trend would continue in the future.
In turn, the representative of the IDB, Mr. Mohammad Mirza, announced the bank's readiness to consider the possibility of implementing additional promising projects in the field of education at the request of the Uzbek side. Recall that on April 27, 2023, on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, a Loan agreement was signed between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Development Bank, under which 120 non-state preschool educational organizations will be built in the regions of the republic on the principles of public-private partnership by the end of 2027.
At the same time, the head of the UNICEF education sector in Uzbekistan, Mr. Alberto Biancoli, announced the intentions of the International Children's Aid Fund to actively assist the Agency of Preschool Education in improving the quality of preschool education in the country, in particular by improving preschool pedagogy, teaching materials and game materials.
Following the meeting, the parties exchanged gratitude for holding this productive meeting and expressed their commitment to further deepening fruitful cooperation.
