The event was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore named after A. Navoi of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after A. Navoi, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute named after A. Navoi, Chirchik State Pedagogical University, Samarkand State University named after Sh. Rashidova, the public association "Uzbek National Cultural Center of Almaty", as well as higher educational institutions of the city, reports the news agency "Dunyo".
The purpose of the event is to promote the spiritual, historical and philosophical foundations of the development of modern society through the rich heritage of Navoi and Abai, to create a new platform for dialogue and cooperation between the world's leading scientists studying the legacy of great thinkers.
One of the main tasks of the forum was to discuss the development of cooperation and the implementation of joint projects aimed at strengthening the continuity of generations and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, countries that are reliable allies and partners.
Within the framework of the forum, a plenary meeting of teachers and students on the creativity of Navoi, an exhibition "Oriental motifs in the creativity of student youth in Almaty", the grand opening of the Navoi Center, a competition of readers "Navoi in the languages of the world", as well as an international scientific and methodological seminar "The legacy of Alisher Navoi: synergy of education, science and upbringing" were held.
At the opening of the event, Rector of Abai KazNPU Bolat Tilep noted the importance of developing cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, stressing that this initiative will give a new impetus to further progress of the scientific and academic community, stressing that "Cooperation between our fraternal countries is successfully developing on the principles of mutual respect, friendship and good neighborliness.
In the near future, it is planned to open the Abai Center, the department of the Kazakh language and literature at the Institute of Central Asian States and Culture at the Samarkand State University named after Sh. Rashidova.
