"We strongly condemn the air attack on the Iranian consulate building, which led to the death of several people and led to destruction on the territory of the Iranian diplomatic mission in the city of Damascus (Syria)," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahror Burkhanov wrote on his telegram channel. "We consider attacks on diplomatic and other representative offices of foreign states to be an absolutely unacceptable situation and a gross violation of the foundations and principles of international diplomatic law."
