Uzbekistan Day was celebrated within the framework of the X International Forum "Children of the Commonwealth"

    The 10th International Cultural and Educational forum "Children of the Commonwealth" is taking place in the Republic of Belarus these days. This traditional prestigious event is attended by schoolchildren aged 14-17 years and their mentors from Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

    In her congratulatory message to the Forum participants, Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva noted that the Children of the Commonwealth Forum, initiated by her Kyrgyz colleagues, has today become a good tradition that promotes friendship, mutual respect and intercultural dialogue among the youth of the CIS countries.

    The Day of Uzbekistan was widely celebrated within the framework of the forum. The rich cultural heritage, national customs and traditions of our country were presented to the general public.

    Schoolchildren from Uzbekistan performed folk songs and dances, organized a demonstration of national games. The forum participants were also able to get to know Uzbek music and literature better, and taste dishes of national cuisine.
