Three people were killed in an accident involving Uzbek citizens in Russia

    A traffic accident involving a car carrying Uzbek citizens occurred last Sunday in the Penza region of the Russian Federation. According to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, three people died as a result of the accident.

    The tragedy occurred on November 10 at about 4 a.m. on the 738th km of the federal highway M-5, passing through the territory of the Penza region of Russia. One of the dead was a citizen of Uzbekistan. It turns out whether the other two were also Uzbekistanis. Two more victims from Uzbekistan with various injuries were hospitalized in the Kuznetsk interdistrict hospital of the Penza region.

    The diplomatic mission expressed its deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

    "The situation is under the control of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan. The process of sending the body of the deceased to his homeland and issues of assistance to the victims are coordinated with representatives of local authorities," the Consulate General added.

    According to Russian media, earlier the prosecutor's office of the Penza region reported that on Sunday morning a KamAZ truck and a Cobalt passenger car collided on a federal highway in the region. As a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers of the car were killed, two more passengers were hospitalized in a medical hospital.
