The Office of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee for the city of Tashkent stated that this information is not true.
According to the ministry, currently the epidemiological situation in the capital for dangerous infectious diseases remains stable, there are no grounds for declaring quarantine.
There are also no cases of diseases reported on social networks - measles, meningitis, hepatitis, tuberculosis and others - that would require the introduction of quarantine measures.
It is noted that in winter, there is traditionally a seasonal increase in the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections. In this regard, preventive measures are carried out in educational institutions: morning filter (examination of children), temperature measurement, temporary isolation of children with signs of illness, as well as informing and recommending parents.
The committee stressed that it was precisely these preventive procedures that some citizens mistook for quarantine.
Residents were urged not to trust unconfirmed information on social media and to rely only on official sources.
