During the meeting, prospects for the development of multilateral strategic relations between Uzbekistan and Russia were discussed, as well as issues of intensifying interparliamentary contacts, which play an important role in strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Also, in preparation for the upcoming 150th anniversary Assembly of the Interparliamentary Union in Uzbekistan, steps to deepen and expand cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries were discussed.

Oleg Malginov noted the participation of the Russian delegation in the anniversary Assembly of the IPU, stressing that this is evidence of the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation for the sake of the interests of the peoples of both countries.
