The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Khurram Teshabayev, as well as heads of relevant ministries and departments.
A distinctive feature of the fair is a systematic approach to the development of local production. As part of the event, an analysis of imported products is carried out, priority product groups are formed and investment proposals are being developed for the organization of their production in the republic.
The fair presents more than 100 promising project initiatives in various sectors of the economy, focused on localization of production, expansion of processing and production of competitive products.
The fair is held for five days on the territory of Uzexpocenter in four pavilions. About 5,000 industry and regional enterprises take part in it, of which 780 represent more than 6,200 types of products. In addition, over 70 international brands and major foreign manufacturers are involved in the event.
As a result of the fair, it is expected to conclude new cooperation agreements, launch investment projects and expand production of import-substituting products.
