The session was convened jointly with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and the UNECE.
The session will be attended by delegations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, representing the Ministries of Trade, Transport, customs services, railway companies. Representatives of the World Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, as well as associations and international transport companies are also expected to participate.
It is planned to consider the issues of further development of trade and economic relations, improvement of the regulatory and legal framework for international cargo transportation, attracting investments in transport and infrastructure development projects, ensuring safety during international cargo and passenger transportation, and others.
