Joint Uzbek-Tajik exercises "Commonwealth-2022" started in Termez

    A military delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan arrived in Termez on August 3 to participate in the joint exercises "Commonwealth-2022".

    According to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the military unit of the Termez garrison, where the delegation was located, action plans were studied that will be implemented by Uzbek and Tajik officers in joint exercises.

    On the second day of joint work within the framework of the Commonwealth-2022 exercises, an opening ceremony was held. Major-General Zaynobiddin Iminov, Commander of the South-Western Special Military District, and Major-General Egamzod Sharaf Khudoiberdi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, spoke at it.

    After the opening ceremony, Uzbek servicemen held demonstration classes at training points and obstacle courses of the Termez combined arms training ground.

    Our fighters took part in practical exercises, such as close-range combat, evacuation of the wounded, repelling the attack of a conditional enemy. Tajik servicemen also took part in these practical exercises.
