According to the Decree, special funds created in local transport departments without forming a legal entity will be transferred to the system of territorial administrations of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to make settlements with carriers and accumulate receipts from fare payments.
On the ground, "Groups for managing the funds of the special fund, analyzing the work of routes and monitoring cash receipts" will be created in the form of a state institution under the departments of economics and finance.
Until June 1, 2024:
The introduction of incentive tariffs will be ensured when using electronic payment systems for public transport;
A unified intelligent public transport management system will be introduced to account for passenger traffic on regular bus routes in Tashkent, control the work of drivers and cash receipts, monitor the technical condition of buses and fix traffic violations in designated lanes.
