In 2026-2027, additional funds in the amount of $100 million will be allocated from the Reconstruction and Development Fund to finance projects based on artificial intelligence technologies, including startup projects in the social sphere and economic sectors, in particular:
50 million dollars free of charge – for the introduction of AI technologies in the activities of government agencies and organizations. At the same time, priority is given to socially significant projects.;
50 million dollars – to support projects based on AI technologies by contributing these funds to the authorized capital of the venture funds Fund of Funds and IT Park Ventures in equal shares as a share of the Reconstruction and Development Fund.
These funds are distributed by the Coordination Commission for the Implementation of the Digital Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy.
At the same time, the annual budget for the allocation of funds by industry and region, including the amount of funding by project, is determined by the Coordination Commission.
Government agencies and organizations must submit proposals on the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in their activities to the Working Body of the Coordination Commission by December 1, 2025.
Financing of projects is carried out on the basis of:
contracts concluded with business entities included in the Register formed on the basis of Presidential Decree No. UP-189 dated 10/22/2025;
the results of an open competition held among participants who meet the requirements and criteria determined by the Coordination Commission for new projects not included in the Register.
The examination of the technical documentation of the information system and resources is carried out on an exceptional basis in all examination bodies simultaneously within a 15-day period.
