During the conversation, the Minister expressed gratitude for UNESCO's active participation in the development of the education system in the country and noted that this cooperation is highly appreciated.
The parties discussed the results and achievements implemented within the framework of the UNESCO project "Development of employment skills in rural areas of Uzbekistan" in the period from 2020 to 2026.
The next stage of the project provides for the repair and equipping of four technical schools with modern equipment.
In addition, the Minister proposed to open international departments in the fields of "Green Economy" and "Sustainable Development" at the Tashkent State University of Economics within the framework of the UNESCO UNITWIN program.
