That is why "Kinder Surprise", "Kinder Mini Eggs", "Kinder Surprise Maxi" and "Kinder Schoko-Bons" are being withdrawn from stores in these and other areas.

"According to experts, salmonellosis is a bacterium that affects the human gastrointestinal tract. Common symptoms include diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain and nausea," the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.

To date, no cases of infection with salmonellosis through chocolate have been registered in Uzbekistan. However, as a precautionary measure, the safety of products under the Kinder brand, as well as all sweets received and sold in the country, is monitored.
