Within the framework of the Cervical and Breast Cancer Control Program approved by the document, in 2025-2030, an electronic database of women aged 30-65 years will be formed in primary medicine, and the procedure for inviting them to a medical examination will be developed.
The costs associated with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cancer detected as a result of screening are financed from the State budget.
Starting from January 1, 2025, staff units will be introduced in district (urban) multidisciplinary central polyclinics at the expense of staff units optimized in the healthcare system:
obstetrician-gynecologist for the cancer control room;
X-ray technicians to organize the work of mobile and stationary mammographs in two shifts.
Along with this, a Coordinating Council for the implementation of projects in the field of cancer control is being created. Its working body will be the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Maternal and Child Health, as well as the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology.
The main tasks of the Council are to coordinate projects aimed at controlling cervical and breast cancer, as well as monitoring the use of exclusively approved tests, pharmaceutical products and vaccines, evidence-based diagnostic and treatment methods.
Also, starting from January 1, 2025, it is planned to involve non-governmental medical organizations in screening for cervical and breast cancer, as well as to establish the purchase of services through the State Medical Insurance Fund.
At the same time, prices for the purchase of services provided during cervical and breast cancer screening are approved by the Ministry of Health in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as the Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Protection.
The document was published in the National Database of Legislation and entered into force on 11/25/2024, Norma reports.
