In January 2022, the volume of exports of table grapes from Uzbekistan in physical terms amounted to 6.5 thousand tons, which is 4.1 times more than in the same period of 2021.

At the same time, it should be noted that in January 2021, the export of Uzbek table grapes was the lowest in the last three years and was 2.5 times less than in January 2020 and 2019. Nevertheless, the volume of exports of these products in January 2022 turned out to be 59-63% more than in the same period of 2019 and 2020, EastFruit analysts report based on data from the country's Customs Committee.

In 2021, table grapes took second place after cherries in the fresh fruit segment in terms of the growth rate of exports in physical terms. If we take into account that the export season of table grapes from Uzbekistan starts in the second half of June, then in the current season (from the beginning of June 2021 to the end of January 2022) Uzbekistan exported 220.1 thousand tons of these products for a total of $ 150.5 million. Compared to the previous season (from the beginning of June 2020 to the end of January 2021), the export of table grapes increased by 67% in physical terms and by 19% in export revenue.

In January 2022, 98-99% of the total shipments of Uzbek table grapes to foreign markets accounted for the total share of four countries - Kazakhstan (47%), Russia (42%), Kyrgyzstan (7%) and Belarus (3%).
