On October 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Center for Islamic Civilization to review the ongoing work aimed at broadly showcasing the rich historical and spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people through the exhibitions being created there.
The large-scale and unique project of the center was initiated by a Presidential resolution of June 23, 2017, and the first stone was laid on the holiday of Ramadan Hayit – Eid al-Fitr – in 2018. Today, construction work has reached its final stage.
