According to the Report, this was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with Al Jazeera.
He also noted that Iran does not strike civilian targets in neighboring countries, but responds to the United States by attacking American bases in the Middle East.
Yesterday, during a telephone conversation with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Araghchi stressed that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz cannot be considered separately from the general situation in the region, since violations of navigation in the Strait are a consequence of the war by the United States and Israel.
