The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Prosecutor General paid a working visit to Korea

    At the invitation of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Korea, a delegation headed by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan paid a working visit to Korea.

    Within the framework of this visit, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev met with the Prosecutor General of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Korea Lee Won-seok.

    During the constructive dialogue, the parties discussed issues of legal interaction, as well as promising areas for further development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two states.

    The parties exchanged experience and ongoing reforms in the areas of environmental protection and the introduction of information and communication technologies in the activities of the Prosecutor's office.

    In particular, the Uzbek side was given the opportunity to get acquainted with the experience of the Korean Prosecutor's Office in the field of environmental protection and other activities of the supervisory authority.

    According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, in addition, the Korean side presented to the participants of the meeting a presentation on the use of ICT in the work of the Prosecutor's Office.

    The head of the delegation of the Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan proposed to expand interdepartmental cooperation in the above areas.

    In turn, the Prosecutor General of Korea supported the initiative of the Uzbek side and expressed readiness to further develop cooperation in these areas.

    Following the results of the event, the parties agreed to conclude a cooperation program between the Prosecutor General's Offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea for 2024-2025.

    In general, the visit to the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of Korea was held in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere.
