The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Senate participates in the 111th session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva

    The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva is on a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the 111th session of the International Labour Conference of the International Labour Organization.

    Delegations of workers, employers and governments from 187 ILO member States will discuss a wide range of issues, including: a fair transition to a sustainable and inclusive economy, quality apprenticeship programs and occupational safety.

    For information, it is worth mentioning that every year in June, representatives of 187 member countries of the International Labour Organization gather at the International Labour Conference in Geneva.

    The International Labour Conference adopts ILO conventions and recommendations developed by representatives of Governments, workers and employers. Conventions are legally binding international agreements that can be ratified by ILO member States.
