During the conversation, topical issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland were discussed.
Special attention was paid to strengthening the dialogue between the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the National Assembly of Poland, which meets the long-term interests of the two countries. Proposals were considered to increase contacts between the legislative branches of government by organizing mutual visits, exchanging experience in lawmaking, in the field of human rights, etc.
The sides exchanged views on the active promotion of economic diplomacy, which is a priority of Uzbek-Polish relations. Mutual interest in the implementation of joint investment projects was expressed.
The need to expand cultural and humanitarian ties was noted, including the full implementation of the Intergovernmental Executive Program in the field of culture, science, higher education, education and sports for 2022-2026, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
