The members of the delegation met with the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev.
There was an exchange of experience in the organization of the prosecutor's office, legal reforms, training and retraining of personnel in the field of prosecutorial and investigative activities.
The parties discussed cooperation between the two institutions, agreed to draw up a program of practical actions. A memorandum has been signed between the Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Academy of Justice of Turkey, which will become the basis for raising bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level in terms of increasing human resources.
The delegation got acquainted with the activities of the Academy, the organization of the educational process, created information systems, infrastructure, visited the Museum of the History of the Prosecutor's Office of Uzbekistan.
A number of meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the delegation's visit. The Academy of the Prosecutor General's Office will hold talks on the topic "Topical issues of the Prosecutor's Office in the conduct of criminal court cases" and other events, UZ reports.
