The Uzbek Foreign Minister held a meeting with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia

    On May 23, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Special Representative of the European Union for Central Asia Terhi Hakala and her team.

    The sides discussed ways to deepen cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, as well as issues on the regional and global agenda.

    It was noted that today Central Asia is becoming more interconnected, working together for the sake of common prosperity and increasing its attractiveness in the international arena.

    Appreciation was expressed for the support of collective efforts in the region to create reliable ties at the global level, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
