The meeting began with the presentation of the updated IT Park activities. The parties discussed promising areas of joint projects and the possibility of financing from USAID. Among the ideas discussed were projects to support the export of IT Park residents, investment support for companies, including startups, and educational programs for inclusive groups of the population, support for women in BPO with subsequent employment and protection of socially vulnerable groups in the digital environment.

Recall that at the moment IT Park and USAID are already working closely together. They have successfully completed the implementation of two waves of the Tumaris project.Tech in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. Educational courses on information technologies for citizens of Afghanistan were also held. In Washington, the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan and USAID signed a memorandum of support for the strategy "Digital Uzbekistan-2030".

Following the meeting, prospects for further cooperation between IT Park and USAID were outlined. The proposals put forward for discussion will be analyzed in detail for possible implementation. Mutual cooperation is assessed as promising for both sides.
