For the first time, a block train went from Uzbekistan to Brazil

    On December 11, 2024, the first block train to Brazil departed from the First Dry Port Terminal LLC in Tashkent. In total, it consists of 54 forty-foot containers (each with 28 tons of urea).

    "The train route passes through Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia. In the port of Poti, it is planned to transfer containers from railway platforms to a ship and deliver them by sea to the port of Paranagua (Brazil)," explained the representative of First Dry Port Terminal.

    The sender is the company "Uzkimyoimpeks" (a single agent for export-import operations in the chemical industry of Uzbekistan).

    The full delivery time will be 60-70 days. It is planned to deliver containers from Uzbekistan to Poti in 20 days, and the cargo will take about 35-45 days by sea.
