According to the Report, Alexander Khinshtein, the acting governor of the region, announced this on Telegram.
"Last night, a bridge collapsed on the 48th km of the Trosna-Kalinovka highway in the Jeleznogorsk district during the movement of a freight locomotive. Part of the train crashed down onto the highway, which was located under the bridge. The fire of the locomotive started - the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations quickly localized it," he wrote.
According to the information, the entire locomotive crew was taken to the hospital, while the number of injured was not specified.
"Car traffic under the bridge has been temporarily suspended, a detour has been organized," the head of the region added.
