The resolution defines the most important directions of the organization of endocrinological services provided to the population.
From April 1, 2022, a new model of medical supervision and patronage will be introduced to ensure early detection and targeted monitoring of endocrine diseases.
According to the Resolution:
- family doctors undergo retraining in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases;
- a patronage nurse who has received special training is attached to families with endocrine diseases.
The resolution approved the Program for the development of endocrinological care for the population of the republic for 2022-2024.
According to the Decree, targeted screening of the population over 40 years of age for diabetes mellitus and prediabetes conditions is carried out at least once a year, and regular contact is established with patients who have endocrine disorders.
From February 1, 2022, a system of retraining and advanced training of medical workers in traditional and remote (mixed) ways will be launched.
By April 1, 2022, pre-medical examination rooms will be organized in primary health care institutions.
According to the Resolution, patients are provided free of charge:
- patients with type I diabetes mellitus under the age of 25 years - with analog insulins and self-monitoring devices (glucose meter and special test strips);
- patients with diabetes insipidus, children with somatotropin insufficiency - vital special medicines (desmopressin and growth hormone);
- patients with type I diabetes mellitus over the age of 25, as well as with type II diabetes mellitus in need of insulin therapy - human insulin;
- patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and those who are in the "Unified Register of Social Protection" as those in need - metformin drug;
According to the Decree, annually up to 50 endocrinologists selected on a transparent competitive basis by the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology and territorial medical institutions are sent for advanced training to reputable foreign endocrinological centers, the legal channel of the Ministry of Justice reports.
