The Chinese side was presented with a presentation of the investment and business climate of Uzbekistan, information about the benefits and preferences provided to foreign investors, as well as free economic zones operating on the territory of the republic.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the development and expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the East China region, as well as attracting foreign investment and modern technologies to the republic, the news agency "Dunyo" reports.
The representative of the Chinese company praised the progressive reforms in the economic and social spheres carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It was emphasized that Zhejiang Jinlun Electromechanical Co., Ltd is confident about the prospects of expanding its long-term presence in Uzbekistan by increasing investment and technlogical cooperation.
Based on the results of preliminary work, the Chinese side decided to send its delegation headed by the chairman of the company to Uzbekistan from February 17 to 24, 2023 to hold negotiations on the establishment of a joint Uzbek-Chinese enterprise for the production of hydraulic turbines, generators and spare parts for small hydroelectric power plants with further deepening of the level of localization of production and providing work to 200 a man.
